Master Gardener, Kathleen Livingston, has been gardening since childhood. As a post-career pursuit, she certified as a Master Gardener through the University of Saskatchewan, operating for several years a production greenhouse just north of Regina, growing culinary herbs for the food and hospitality industry and for the Regina Farmers’ Market.
Holding a B.A. in Management and Labour Relations from Carleton University, she also successfully completed several U of S horticultural courses in support of her passion and entrepreneurial operations.
Now, back in Ontario, she has certified through the Master Gardeners of Ontario Inc., has certified as an Organic Master Gardener Practitioner, and is an active member of the Halton Master Gardeners group. She is also active in her local Crown Point Garden Club, one of Hamilton’s most respected horticultural influences.
Kathleen also worked for years in floral design, learning and working with the elements that create stunning and elegant floral displays.
